Are you ready to stop feeling so exhausted? So drained? So burnt out?

Are you a highly sensitive person or empath who’s dealt with a host of mysterious and chronic conditions?   1. Getting back in touch with circadian rhythms

Most of us no longer see sunrise and sunset — or maybe even ANY natural light throughout the day. But did you know that the particular type of light you can only receive at sunset is a master hormone signaler, that properly signals a host of hormones to start their seasonally and daily time-appropriate functions? 

2. Proper water intake

What if I told you that the body transforms water into a special substance called Exclusion Zone water? The water in your cells is not regular water, but a highly structured water with special properties. It is more viscous, dense, and alkaline than regular water; has a negative charge, and can hold energy, much like a battery, and deliver energy too.

3. Grounding

Up until just a couple of hundred years ago, humans didn’t wear footwear with rubber soles (or they just went barefoot!), meaning that they were able to consistently be in contact with the electromagnetic field of the earth. Grounding (also called earthing) involves the transfer of free electrons from the earth to the human body, which helps with pain reduction, changes in the immune response, and wound healing.

4. Your physical environment

As a certified Feng Shui consultant, I can tell you this: Your home contributes to your health, positively or negatively. Everything from clutter, to blocked energy flow to the way your bed is positioned can cause health issues. Plus, most of us these days, for the first time in human history, are awash in a field of non-native EMFs from cell phones, wifi signals and a host of other electronics in the home.

5. Reducing artificial light

Did you know that artificial light at night has been linked to increased risk of cancers in body sites like the breast and colorectum, not to mention a host of other health issues? And that when you look at your phone screen first thing in the morning, or last thing at night, the artificial blue light you’re shining in your eyes is significantly confusing your body’s natural hormonal processes?

6. Diet

Sorry to say, but we must eat breakfast, and it should be savory, protein heavy and eaten within an hour of rising as close to sunrise as possible. Not having an appetite in the morning is a sign of metabolic and nervous system dysregulation. Our body has enough reserves for a short period of time upon waking before it will alert the adrenals that we do not have any more glucose in our blood stream. Your body will then pump out stress hormones like cortisol to break down parts of your body to move more glucose into your blood stream. Getting your breakfast right is a hormonal must-do.

  • How to begin to adapt to a proper circadian rhythm in your life

  • Why just drinking water alone is not enough to stay hydrated, and how to make supercharged, mineralized and structured water that will restore your energy

  • What your home and office environments have to do with your health, and how to optimize them for your healing

These principles are what I’ll be teaching throughout Recharge Your Light. Every week for six weeks, I’ll teach you the What, Why, and How of implementing these natural healing principles. I’ll make it digestible, accessible, practical and eminently doable. I’ll show you exactly how I incorporate these tactics into my life, and help you brainstorm how you can do it too, no matter if you have children, have to work nights, think you could never wake up by sunrise, are addicted to your phone, drink 5 coffees a day, or whatever else you’re dealing with. We make it work for all.

In Recharge Your Light, you’ll have my daily support, a private community, and each week, a fun, doable and practical assignment that will help you build out these natural healing approaches so you can actually make them a doable and sustainable part of your life and your long-term well-being.

The details…

We’ll meet Thursdays at 3pmET, starting June 20 (the Solstice, in keeping with the light and seasonal theme! And I’m NOT teaching this class after sunset, so we can live circadian principles! Unless you’re in Europe of course :) In which case I’ll teach you how to take this class in a light-safe way.) Every class for 90 minutes we’ll do the following…

  • Catherine will teach a new lesson every week on a new health and wellness principle, helping you understand the what, why and how of these concepts

  • We’ll discuss and brainstorm ideas for how you can adapt the principles into your life

  • Q&A with Catherine

  • Homework assignment

Course outline and what you’ll learn…

  • Week 1: Overview of Recharge Your Light, and how we can start to move from a low-voltage lifestyle to a high-voltage life as a highly sensitive person. I’ll also go over materials needed, and expectations for the course, and exactly why the principles I’ll be teaching are so critical for your well-being. We’ll also set intentions, and I’ll have you define your “healing team of support.”

  • Week 2: Understanding the whys and hows of circadian rhythm, how to best manage your light environment, and the healing power of earthing and how to incorporate it into your week. We’ll be going over how and why to see sunrise; what is UVA light and when to see it; how to learn your skin type so you can safely get exposure to sun; what apps to download to manage this; how to switch your screens and home lights to reduce blue light; and how and where to wear blue-light blocking glasses. We’ll also explore the power of earthing and practice that.

  • Week 3: Water and diet. We’ll focus on the principles of local and seasonal eating, and how to make sure you are creating and drinking the most nourishing, mineralized water possible for you. I’ll share my herbalism recipes for mineralizing your water; ways to find the best, healthiest water for you, no matter your home living situation; as well as teach you the tenets of eating breakfast within an hour of waking; how to balance your blood sugar; and eating according to a circadian rhythm.

  • Week 4: Discussing the importance of reducing EMF and wifi as much as possible, and how to do it practically in a modern environment while still taking advantage of the magic of technology. This week will be all about practical and responsible mitigation - installing overnight wifi timers, looking at the use of electricity in your home, removing wearables from your body and keeping your phone and technology out of the bedroom.

  • Week 5: Feng shui for your home’s health, and how to recharge your light and vitality through the principles of home energy. We’ll look directly at the 2 areas most responsible for health in your home and how to optimize them so they can help nourish your body’s health.

  • Week 6: Putting it all together. We’ll create our own custom plans for how to actually implement, long-term and sustainably, the methods and lessons listed in the course.

All calls will be recorded for replay, so it’s totally fine if you cannot attend live, and there will be a private online community for the duration of the course where you can ask me any questions at any time that you like. You will have lifetime access to the materials as well, so you can return to the principles and teachings again and again.

You should know that I will be asking you to not drink alcohol during the six weeks, and consider quitting coffee as well (or at the least not have it first thing on an empty stomach; I’ll teach you when is optimal to drink it, if you’re not ready to give it up). You’ll also need to invest in a pair of blue-light-blocking glasses (about $20-$40, depending), as well as a few other materials (red light bulbs, herbs, high-quality salt, software for your computer - all together it will probably come to about $75 invested in other materials) and make some other lifestyle choices as well. My courses and coaching are all about DOING, not just knowing you should do, so come ready prepared to make some shifts in your habits — but know I’ll teach you how to do them little by little, sustainably, and we never let perfect get in the way of the good in my teaching!

Is this course right for me?

If you struggle with feeling burned out, drained, and know your health is not as optimal as you want it to be, this course will teach you principles of nature and environment that will help you regain vitality and energy. While this course is not medical advice or counsel, and cannot be a substitute for working with a medical professional, it will give you the tenets of living in a seasonally energetically appropriate way; discuss the whys and hows of why artificial light and EMFs can affect your health negatively and how to repair those; and give you tools, tactics and recipes for optimal health, diet, and routines, especially geared towards the highly sensitive person who is interested in natural and holistic healing.

Who’s the teacheR?

That’s me, Catherine Andrews! I’m a life coach, spiritual mentor and teacher, working with highly sensitive beings, empaths, ADHD and neurodivergent folks to live a more fully expressed, joyful, authentic, vibrant and meaningful life. I’ve dealt healthwise with PMDD, fatigue, burnout, digestive issues, SIBO, depression, chronic UTIs, hair loss, unexplained weight gain, emotional eating, severe anxiety and panic attacks, and am navigating the waters of perimenopause at age 44 (a process that started around age 37). I’m deeply committed to the healing power of nature and holistic principles, and while I believe there is 100% a time and a place for conventional and pharmaceutical medicine, nothing I received from those systems or those medications really ever helped me solve my health issues. So I committed to learning holistic and nature-based self-healing principles, like herbalism, hormonal balance, diet, Feng Shui (yes, your home significantly impacts your health!) and more that I’ll be teaching in this course.   • The calls will be about 90 minutes. Then the rest of the work is about implementation, so it’s less that you will have a workbook that will take you 2 hours - it’s more about switching your lifestyle. Can you work outside for 30 minutes a day? Can you wear blue blocking glasses after sunset? Can you leave your phone away from your nightstand? A few weeks will have you make recipes (herbal infusions, for example) but there’s not really dedicated homework outside of the class, it’s more about integrating lifestyle shifts into your existing routines and schedules.

  • Pair of blue-light blocking glasses (ranges, but probably $20-$40)
    High-quality salt ($12)
    Dried herbs for infusions ($10-$30)

    Wired headphones for phone and computer (ranges, but probably $10-$20 per pair)

    You may also want to invest in red light lightbulbs, a wifi timer, or a few other things I’ll suggest but the above are the necessary basics.

    You’ll also need access to sun (free!), access to soil or dirt to sit on (free! just at a park or in your yard is fine), a couple of free apps on your phone.

  • It’s no problem, they are not mandatory or necessary to learn what I’ll be teaching. All calls will be recorded and uploaded immediately for replay and you have lifetime access so you can go at your own pace.

  • You have to think of your body like terrain or soil. Health conditions like mold, autoimmune issues, fatigue, etc, can often only take place in an environment that is already struggling. Think about a field where you hope to grow vegetables. It never gets sun, the soil has no minerals, the water it receives is polluted and the only light it receives is artificial blue light. What would be able to take hold there? Mold, bugs, fungus… but not healthy, vibrant, vegetables. Now imagine that the field has had its soil re-mineralized. It gets full and beautiful sun every day. The water it receives is of the highest quality, and it’s had all non-native EMFs and artificial light removed from it. It’s resistant to blight, pests, and fungus because it’s more resilient and strong and vibrant. Healthy vegetables are flourishing.

    This is your body. Your health condition may be a manifestation of poor terrain. When we remove artificial tech and light, and re-introduce natural healing sources like the sun and earthing, your overall health improves, no matter how your specific health condition is presenting.
